Adams Electric promotes four employees
Adams Electric recently promoted employees to new positions within the cooperative.
Travis Rawlings, of Chambersburg, was named engineering technician within the engineering department, Nov. 1. He started with Adams as a staking technician C in August 2016, then was promoted to staking technician B in February 2017.
Rawlings reports to Brian Shearer, senior staff engineer. He is a graduate of Chambersburg Area High School and completed his associate degree in mechanical engineering through Hagerstown Community College.
Recent position changes in the operations department include: Andrew Kuykendall, of Biglerville, who was promoted this summer to second year apprentice at the Gettysburg District. He started with Adams as a groundman in January 2017.
William “Ty” Hensley, of Shippensburg, moved to fourth year apprentice at the Shippensburg District, in October. He started with Adams in October 2015 as a first year apprentice in the operations department.
Also, this fall, Adam Waldron, of Aspers, moved to second year apprentice at the Gettysburg District. He started with Adams in July 2013, as a service dispatcher, then moved to groundman in February 2016, and first year apprentice in June 2017.
